Haregewoin Teferra - Fervent Global Love of Lives
Andrew has recently nominated Ms. Haregewoin Teferra for the 2007 Chou Ta-Kuan (CTK) Foundation 'Fervent Global Love of Lives' Award. In late May 2007, the foundation will fly Ms. Teferra and a companion from Ethiopia, where she runs an organization for the care of AIDS orphans, to Taiwan to receive the award.
Ms. Teferra is the subject of a recent book, There is No Me Without You, written by Melissa Fay Greene. Mrs. Greene, a journalist who adopted two Ethiopian children before writing the book, documents Teferra's odyssey in raising AIDS orphans after the sudden deaths of her husband and her daughter.

Andrew is one of seven global recepients of the 2006 "Fervent Global Love for Life" award.Recently invited to join the UW Epsilon chapter of Phi Lambda Upsilon, a National Chemistry Honorary Society.
Appeared in the National Geographic Kids Magazine in a 30th Anniversary Issue in September 2005.
Accepted into the Golden Key International Honour Society.
